SVSM is an organization with roots in the community supporting indigenous and non-indigenous children and young people with moderate to complex care needs. We offer high quality care and assistance to children and young people who are on Child Protection orders from the Department of Child Safety, Seniors, and Disability Services. We provide high quality workers with a variety of experiences and culturally diverse backgrounds in the local community to support children and young people in our Care. Our organization has the backing of the wider community that values the lives of vulnerable children and young people in need of support, and we work in partnership with the Queensland government and other community services to ensure that their daily care and protection needs are met in a timely manner. SVSM also collaborates with education and other therapeutic services such as Evolve, YETI to provide high quality training to our workers and get them equipped to deal with the complex needs of the children and young people we support.
